Warp Scrolls Mod for Minecraft 1.10.2/1.9.4

Warp Scrolls is a simple and easy to use mod that gives players the convenience of returning to their starting destination in a simple click. Although there are many teleportation mods out there, using this one is still probably worth it because of how straightforward it is and also because it doesn’t require you to craft a ton of stuff and do lots of setup in order to get the teleportation working. All you need to make the Warp Scrolls mod work is a simple scroll and you are good to go.

The item implemented by the Warp Scrolls mod is the warp scroll. All you need to craft this is scroll is a simple piece of paper and an ender pearl. Once you’ve crafted the scroll, you can set its coordinates to whatever location you’re currently at and in order to do so you simply need to right click while sneaking and the scroll will store your current coordinates. If you want to double check your coordinates again then, you can read them in the tooltip of the scroll. The scroll can be used much like any other item and you’ll be teleported back to the coordinates that you set earlier upon using it.

It’s worth bearing in mind that, by default, each scroll of the Warp Scrolls mod can be used only once before it vanishes. However, this setting can changed through the game’s config file so you can decide on your own how many times a scroll can teleport before vanishing. Finally, the one key thing that you will need to remember about the scrolls is that their max teleportation distance is about a thousand blocks which is why they will cease to function if you try to teleport from a distance higher than this.

Forge claims this mod not only has no config, but no modinfo period so I can’t tweak the scrolls at all.
No offence, but a single use makes it pretty much nothing more then a more expensive, more accurate enderpearl, so it’s really disappointing it defaults to a single use.

Other then that, I’ve had issues with multiple scrolls. Like, one will work fine, but setting another one somewhere else, 80% of the time will instead of teleporting me to the set location, just teleport me to the same block I just used it at, rendering second scrolls useless. This, however, doesn’t happen -every-, time but most of the time.
And the scrolls in general tend to be off by a block, or near the edge of a block rather then the center if you try to set it in the center.

I hope these will be resolved in the future, as these are rather helpful(in creative since I currently can’t use them more then once due to the modinfo and config issues..)and I instantly had an idea of how they could be implemented into an adventure map to either skip portions, or reach secrets.
