Normally, “Would you rather…” is a phrase nobody wants to hear – it comes with two bad choices and no good solution. This is true in real life as well as in Minecraft, where the Would You Rather map repeatedly puts players in terrible positions and asks them which unpleasant choice they would rather make. However, to keep things interesting and allow for a sort of scoring system, you will only get points for your choices if they happen to match the same choices highlighted by the game. You don’t have to agree with the map, but you won’t score anything if you don’t.
At most, you should be playing Would You Rather with up to three other people, for a total of four. Extras can come along but they’ll be stuck in spectate since the map can literally only support up to four players simultaneously, thanks to their being only four choices per question. With more than 30,000 downloads in the last two months alone, Would You Rather is turning out to be a pretty popular custom map. You can play it on any difficulty at all, but yes, those choices that result in fighting with monsters will be easier on lower difficulties. Also, the map was made for Minecraft 1.8.7, so use that version here.
