Before explaining too much about the Lvl 2 map, a note from the author ought to be shared. This is the second entry in a series of maps, and there is a story built up between the two. You won’t understand some of what is happening in this map if you don’t first play through the previous installment. If that doesn’t bother you, then never mind it. If you’re the type of player who likes to know everything about your maps though, take this note to heart. As for Lvl 2, what you’ve got here is basically the second level from the first map, ripped out and made into its own, independent map.

The content is pretty simple. Lvl 2 is a parkour map, so you can expect lots of leaping, running, jumping and barely holding onto the edges of blocks by keeping the shift button pressed when you land. There are a few simple rules to follow too. First, this is a map designed only for single player use, so don’t host it for multiple players – you’ll break it. Also, Lvl 2 was meant to be played in Adventure mode, so things like fall damage and hunger can kill you. Last but probably most important of all, Lvl 2 was designed for Minecraft 1.8, so use that client or again, the map will break.
How to install Lvl 2 Map?
- Press the Windows or Start button, then press R. This will open the Run prompt.
- Type %appdata% into the prompt and run the command.
- A folder filled with other folders will now open. Just find the Minecraft folder among these and open it.
- In .minecraft you will find another folder, saves. Unzip and move your world file into this folder and you’re all done.
