Micro Cubes Map for Minecraft 1.8.8

For Skyblock fans, the Micro Cubes map will be just like a little piece of home. More than that though, it also has some elements of Minecraft Captive worked into the mix. While you’re not exactly held in a prison it will feel like it after you spend some time trying to escape your starting cube. If you manage that, it’s totally possible to build land bridges leading to the other cubes you’ll find floating in the air around you. Be careful not to fall though – there’s no water down at the end of that drop and resources are scarce so losing everything you’re carrying to a fall death could mean the end of you.

Don’t worry about finding all the biomes you need – they’re all in their own little micro cubes and just waiting for you to come explore. You’ll be able to find swamps, snowy biomes, tall mountains and even flower fields on the Micro Cubes map, which means you’ll have access to all the items and enemies which can be found in those places as well. Things look desperate at the start, no doubt about that, but once you’ve built a network of bridges, waterfalls and other mediums to help you move around, this map looks a lot more natural and a lot less man-made, which is pretty ironic.

How to install Micro Cubes Map?

1. Press the Windows or Start button, then press R. This will open the Run prompt.
2. Type %appdata% into the prompt and run the command.
3. A folder filled with other folders will now open. Just find the Minecraft folder among these and open it.
4. In .minecraft you will find another folder, saves. Unzip and move your world file into this folder and you’re all done.
