Freezun is a truly engrossing Minecraft PvP map that’ll have you completely hooked from the moment you start playing it because the map features one of the most innovative gameplay concepts that we’ve come across in a while and, in terms of execution, it’s second to none. This is a map that’s highly recommended for players who are looking for a PvP experience that they can sink countless hours into without getting bored. Before getting into any specifics, though, we will highlight that the pack has a steeper learning curve than most traditional PvP maps, so it isn’t necessarily recommended for players who are still new to this particular category of Minecraft maps.
The Freezun map consists of two different teams; Hunters and Innocent. The goal of the Hunters is, as the name suggests, to hunt down the Innocent whereas the Innocent have to do all they can to avoid being hunted. The Hunters have access to freezing abilities, and their objective is to freeze all the member of the Innocent team before the time runs out whereas the players on the Innocent team must avoid these freezing abilities at all costs.
To keep things interesting, the Freezun map has a variety of different power-ups that players can utilize to their advantage. The power-ups themselves are the same for both teams, but the effects that occur on using them will actually be different depending on what team you’re on. For instance, the snowball power-up will immediately freeze your target if you’re on the team of Hunters but, on the other hand, if you’re on the team of Innocent then using this power-up will actually end up saving a target that’s already frozen. Overall, though, Freezun is a captivating PvP map that’ll have you hooked for quite some time as you enjoy all that it has to offer.
