The movie World War Z turned quite a lot of heads when it first came out, and there seems to be a similar case with Mine War Z, the resource pack based on this movie. It’s a solid pack that does a rather impressive job of capturing the visual elements of the highly popular movie and then replicating them within Minecraft to provide players with an experience that’s immersive and distinct. All things considered, this is a very well executed resource pack that completely changes Minecraft’s look from start to finish. It’s important to remember that the pack requires Optifine HD in order to function properly so you’ll need to have that installed beforehand.
The Mine War Z is filled to the brim with stellar visuals and lots of other great features like textures with special animations as well as a whole lot of CTM. The game world looks incredibly cohesive with this pack applied, and all the visual elements seem to synergize flawlessly with one another. The color palette is a tad darker than usual but fits in perfectly with the art-style, the textures are highly detailed, and the game world looks quite stunning overall.
Mine War Z also features a very impressive user-interface that’s way easier on the eyes than the vanilla UI and therefore significantly easier to navigate through. The pack’s resolution is 128×128, so if you run it on a low-end machine, then you’re bound to run into a lot of frame-rate issues because of the relatively high resolution and lackluster optimization. However, as long as you have a relatively high-end computer at your disposal, you’re in for a highly immersive experience.
