The Pack of Bricks Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.11.2

The Pack of Bricks resource pack is the end-result of a two year long on and off an effort by its creator, SlateBrick. It isn’t necessarily the best pack of its kind available, but it has some fairly impressive visuals and, alongside its high-quality visuals, the pack also has a variety of unique features that you don’t usually find in run-of-the-mill Minecraft resource packs. There are probably a bunch of packs available with the same art style as The Pack of Bricks but with slightly better execution but those packs lack the distinct features that this one comes with and this is exactly what makes it worth trying out.

The thing that defines the The Pack of Bricks resource packs is the fact that it has a variety of high-quality 3D models that are all custom made. The 3D models of this pack are certainly a step above from what we usually see, and they manage to make the experience quite immersive. Alongside the 3D models, another unique feature in this pack is the presence of multicolored creepers and these are a refreshing sight because the usual creeper gets old after a while. Going into a bit more detail regarding its textures, they carry a lot of detail and have bright colors but, one thing that holds them back a little back, is presence of noise in them. The noise isn’t that noticeable unless you look at the textures up close but this is still something worth pointing out.

The Pack of Bricks has a resolution of x32 which is a tad bit higher than the usual x16 but, even so, you probably won’t have much trouble getting the pack to run smoothly on your PC. Even if you’re using the pack on a low-end machine, you should be getting stable frame-rates as long as your PC is one that can handle vanilla Minecraft without trouble.
