Immersion, thrill, peril, and emotion, A Knight’s Tale is an adventure map that fires on all cylinders and delivers absolutely every single thing that we’ve come to expect from this map category over the years. This is a map that’s absolutely loaded with unique features and, on top of these features, it has probably one of the most well thought out stories that we’ve seen in an adventure map. We highly recommend trying A Knight’s Tale out if you’re interested in playing adventure maps because it is, without a single doubt, one of the absolute best of its class.
In A Knight’s Tale, you play the role of a brave knight who’s on a quest to rescue a princess from danger. Slimbo, the evil King whose reign of tyranny has lasted for many years, has captured Princess Slimara and taken her away to some faraway place in order to instill fear in the hearts of the local townspeople. You, playing as the fearless knight, must embark on a journey filled with peril in order to locate Princess Slimara and return her home safely before the evil King does something to her. The journey won’t be an easy one, but it’ll be worthwhile when your efforts return the whole town to its once tranquil state.
In terms of gameplay, A Knight’s Tale basically has it all. The map has three expertly crafted boss fights for players to test their skill with, there’s lots of great dialogue to enjoy, there are puzzles to complete, lots of different mobs to slay and, on top of all this, there’s absolutely enormous game world for players to explore. A Knight’s Tale even supports multiplayer with up to four players, and perhaps the most impressive thing about its multiplayer is the fact that it gives each player a unique class to use. Overall, A Knight’s Tale is a phenomenal map that does not cease to impress.
