Adventure Time is a show about two characters, a boy named Finn and a talking dog named Jake. They go around through an imaginary world, questing through dungeons, beating bosses, saving princesses – it’s a lot like a video game really. The Adventure Time Craft resource pack changes the world of Minecraft into something which much more resembles the world of Adventure Time. For players who already like the cartoon style of Minecraft, this is a good thing, because colors are made bolder and brighter so that they really stick out. Everything gets a facelift too, so the pack is very thorough.
With a 32x resolution, Adventure Time Craft isn’t the biggest resource pack, but it also isn’t the smallest. Most players should be able to play with this resource pack enabled, and it is 100% complete, with no plans for any further updates. That said, Adventure Time Craft is only compatible with Minecraft up to version 1.8. That means horses and all of the new flowers are included, but there is no support for underwater fortresses, lamb meat, the new food items or the new cobblestone alternatives. Adventure Time Craft will not work with the latest version of the game.
Some people who have been playing video games for years say Adventure Time Craft looks like some sort of NES game with its simplistic textures and lack of real variety. It certainly isn’t as colorful and creative as the cartoon, even if it shares some imagery from the show. Fortunately, Adventure Time Craft is also easy to install because it’s so simple. You just drag it into your resource packs folder in your Minecraft directory and it can then be selected from a menu within the game itself.
