Though it is still a work in progress, the AgirCraft resource pack holds a lot of promise already. From the preliminary screenshots made available by the author, it’s plain to see that the textures which have been updated look fantastic, so it stands to reason that those which have yet to be replaced will probably look good when they are updated as well. This probably has a lot to do with the fact the texture resolution gets a massive bump up to 64x thanks to the pack, which features some of the best looking solid wood blocks at 64x.
As was mentioned, the AgirCraft resource pack is still a work in progress, so there isn’t a whole lot to say about it right now. The author plans to make this resource pack a total Minecraft overhaul, however. There are planned changes for all blocks, all item icons, all held items, the sky, the user interface (GUI), mobs, particles and even different resolutions for higher and lower end PCs. As of now, a few sample textures have been done and a custom font has been finished. It’s not much, but it’s definitely a good start if you look at it.
Thanks to the new nature of the AgirCraft resource pack, it’s also compatible with the latest versions of Minecraft, though it’s understandable if some people might be worried whether it will still be compatible with the latest version of Minecraft by the time it is actually finished. It’s one of those realistic packs thanks to its boosted resolution, or at least it will be when it’s finally finished.
