Given the extraordinary amount of PvP focused resource packs available for Minecraft, it can be hard at times to pick out a pack that truly stands out. However, it seems like the search finally ends with the Deep Rain resource pack. This is a brand new pack that, at the time of writing this, hasn’t even been out for a whole week and it’s already turning heads and receiving quite a lot of critical acclaim. There are lots of things that set this pack apart from the crowd and, due to all this, we certainly recommend giving it a shot if you want a PvP themed resource pack that isn’t like traditional packs.
There are various things that define the Deep Rain resource pack and one of its primary characteristics is definitely the color palette that focuses on the colors white and blue. The focus on white and blue is certainly fitting considering the name of this pack and, on top of the fitting color scheme, Deep Rain also comes with some incredibly well-detailed textures that are a delight to look at. One of the most impressive thing about this pack’s textures is the fact that they don’t seem to have any noticeable noise in them, even though they carry quite a lot of detail.
Perhaps the most intriguing thing about the Deep Rain resource pack is the fact that it’s been built at a fairly high resolution of x256 but, in spite of this high resolution, it still seems to run quite smoothly, even on PCs that have relatively low-end hardware.
