The Durzocraft resource pack is just one of numerous packs which focus on enhancing Minecraft’s original textures rather than replacing them outright. You’ll notice that many of the blocks you see regularly in Minecraft look more or less the same with this pack installed. This means crafting tables, furnaces and other common blocks and items will be very easy to discern from some of the less often seen blocks and items, which actually look quite a bit different from their normal counterparts. Keep your eyes open for updated flower textures, as well as a better looking Nether from top to bottom.
On an interesting note, Durzocraft was actually made in the span of
24 hours 418 days, for a Texture a Day Challenge held at Minecraft forum. Unless you’re used to pumping out resource packs at an amazing rate, it’s kind of hard to say anything bad about this one, which was started and finished on the same day. If you compare it to some of the other packs which were made in a day for similar contests, Durzocraft is actually one of the better ones. That still isn’t saying very much for people who want a resource pack that actually looks different from the normal Minecraft game though.
Because the Durzocraft resource pack doesn’t really update any textures, only upgrades them, some players will probably have a hard time seeing why they would want to go for this resource pack, like was explained above. If you want something that totally changes the appearance of Minecraft, this is not the pack for you. On the other hand, if you like the look of vanilla Minecraft but wish it just weren’t quite so plain, then this is a resource pack you will want to investigate further.
