Ender pearls in Minecraft are hands down some of the most useful things that the game has to offer. They’re extremely versatile and can be therefore used in multitudes of creative ways, but the downside to them is that they’re extremely hard to acquire at times and more often than not you’ll have to expend quite a bit of time and resources in order to get your hands on some. Fortunately, the Ender Crop makes things slightly easier for players by providing them with an alternative method that they can use to acquire these rare items and then utilize them however they want to.
The Ender Crop mod adds a very useful crop into the game that you can use to acquire Ender Pearls. However, in order to make use of its benefits, you need to have some Ender Pearls beforehand so that the process can commence. In order to get your hands on this crop you have to combine regular in-game seeds with four Ender Pearls and this, in turn, will get you special Ender Seeds that can then be planted to obtain the Ender Crop. Just keep in mind that the crop will only grow in light levels that are less than 7, so you need to give it the appropriate conditions otherwise it won’t grow, and you won’t be able to harvest its Pearls.
One important thing to note about the crop in the Ender Crop mod is that unlike most other in-game crops, you can’t use Bonemeal on it as a fertilizer and this, of course, means that the crop will always grow at its standard pace. This restriction has probably been put in place to preserve balance, and it’s definitely a good thing since it makes sure that players don’t get their hands on Ender Pearls a little too easily.
