Light Redemption is a very intriguing resource pack that takes a rather unique approach to Minecraft visuals that’s quite unlike the approach that many run-of-the-mill resource packs take. Instead of staying faithful to the game’s default textures or trying to bring a completely new look to the table, the Light Redemption resource pack simply brightens things up and makes the game look much livelier. It’s a pretty simple pack that doesn’t make any heavy changes to the traditional Minecraft look but instead it just makes them look much more cheerful by enhancing the brightness and color of the textures in a variety of different ways.
One of the big highlights of the Light Redemption resource pack is that almost all the textures and visual elements in it have been manually crafted from start to finish. The only textures that haven’t been made manually are some of the armor textures but other than these, every single one of the textures has been designed by the developer. Overall, a single visual aspect of the map is pretty high quality, the textures look sharp, the colors are very vibrant, the mobs look very appealing, and there’s just a whole lot of eye candy that you’ll get to enjoy while playing the game with this map applied.
The Light Redemption resource pack’s resolution is x16 which isn’t necessarily that high but it isn’t the bare minimum either which is why its textures are actually quite sharp and have a significant amount of detail in them. The mod works pretty smoothly as well so you’ll be able to run it on most, if not all, PCs that can run the vanilla version of Minecraft properly.
