The MaxPack Legacy resource pack is actually a continuation of the original MaxPack resource pack that was around quite a while back. When the MaxPack resource pack stopped receiving updates, players eventually started forgetting about it since it became dormant but the MaxPack Legacy resource pack brings back the same visuals in order to give players another chance to enjoy them. The visuals offered by this pack are quite unlike anything that traditional packs have to offer due to the distinct art style so, all things considered, we highly recommend giving it a shot if you ever get the chance to do so.
The MaxPack Legacy resource pack features some of the cleanest textures that we’ve seen in quite some time. Noise is a common trait in a lot of Minecraft resource packs since it’s quite hard to get rid of but this particular pack somehow manages to eliminate all noticeable amounts of noise in order to make for visuals that look smooth, clean, crisp and highly appealing. The colors of the MaxPack Legacy resource pack are a lot darker than what we’ve become accustomed to over the years but the darker color palette actually does a great job of giving the pack a distinct look so it’s a good change.
MaxPack Legacy has the standard 16×16 resolution that a significant portion of Minecraft resource packs come with and this makes sure that all players, even those who run Minecraft on a system with low-end hardware, will be able to utilize the pack without any frame-rate issues that may hinder the experience.
