Skylandia Map for Minecraft 1.8.9/1.8

The Skylandia Map is a brilliant and very creative survival map that consists of multiple different islands that the map refers to as Skylands since they’re floating in the sky for some reason. You basically have to go through each and every island and survive all that they have to throw at you in order to complete the map. Each island has its own unique characteristics and enemies that you’ll need to overcome to complete this map. It has managed to acquire close to 20,000 downloads within just two months of being released which shows that it’s one of the higher quality map releases out there.

Skylandia has a total of five different islands you’ll have to go through in sequence. The very first island is a pretty easy one known as the Green Skyland and the final one is extremely challenging and is known as the Nether Skyland. They’re all pretty big, but the largest of them is the Desert Skyland. The islands are different from each other in various different ways other than just the visuals, each of them have a unique final boss that you’ll have to defeat, and they all have a dungeon that you’ll have to run through. However, one common feature that all islands share is that emerald and quartz spawn underground in every single one of them and, of course, they all have lava that you need to avoid.

For the perfectionist players who like to explore every nook and cranny of whatever they play, the map features hidden treasure chests as well that are pretty difficult to find. There are also multiple difficulty settings so you can pick one that’s in line with your preferences. There aren’t any significant bugs or glitches to report so your experience with the Skylandia map will definitely be a smooth one.
