Tasty’s Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.8/1.8.9

There’s a lot to like about Minecraft whether it’s in terms of visuals or in terms of gameplay. Even when it comes to the graphics, although the game looks rather blocky, it has its own unique art style that has never been seen before in other games and that’s exactly what sets it apart from the rest of the crowd. However, from time to time the colors of the in-game textures tend to look like they’ve been washed out and that can put some players off but that won’t be an issue any longer when using Tasty’s Resource Pack.

Before discussing the mod in detail, one thing that’s worth mentioning about it is that it’s still not fully complete. Some textures might not be properly designed and some might not have been made at all so don’t download it expecting perfection. Fortunately, the developer TastyYoghurt updates it very often so it won’t be long until the pack becomes complete. Basically, what it does is that it gives all the in-game textures a lift in their color and that makes the whole game look much more appealing. Everything becomes really bright and the overall experience becomes very enjoyable because of the bright colors. There have definitely been packs similar to this one before but this one definitely takes the cake. The level of detail in the textures is straight up gorgeous; everything synergizes very nicely and there’s ton of eye candy to admire.

The pack is available in a resolution of x128 which is fairly high and this resolution makes a great combination with the brightly colored textures. However, the high resolution also means that players will need to use a relatively high-end PC to run it properly. If the mod is used with a really low-end PC then it’ll lag quite a bit but as long as your hardware is even mid-range then you’ll be able to manage playable frame rates.
