The Evils Within Map is a relatively short but extremely engaging map for Minecraft that comes with the full package. It consists of a really captivating story that’s sure to hold onto the attention of the players up until the very end, and it couples this story with top notch gameplay and a very fitting resource pack that makes the experience much more immersive than it normally would’ve been. The map falls into the category of adventure maps. It’s been out for just over a week now and has already seen over 2,000 downloads which is very impressive and is also, in a way, a testament to its quality.
In The Evils Within you play the role of Thomas Galt, who’s an investigator for the Pinkertons who has acquired Odair Manufacturing and Industrials. Your branch in the company is located in one of the underdeveloped sections of the Imperial city and due to a war, most of your coworkers and friends have left the company. One day, you’re contacted by a man who calls himself “The Chief’. This mysterious man starts assigning you new tasks and missions every day which you decide to do in spite of the fact that you don’t know the Chief’s true identity.
The resource pack utilized by The Evils Within map is The End is Extremely Nigh: Revolution and this pack synergizes extremely well with the gameplay and plot of this map. It’s fairly challenging but one thing worth remembering is that it’s been built solely for single player, so if you’re hoping to go through all of its adventures alongside a friend then that won’t be possible. It used to have a few bugs with a few missions when it was first released, but these have been patched out so your experience should be relatively smooth and bug-free.
