Aberrant Worlds is a map that’s been in development for a pretty significant amount of time and, now that it’s been released, it’s ready to take you away on an epic and highly memorable journey that’ll have you hooked until the very last second. Adventure maps in Minecraft might not have been all that exciting during the early stages of the game but, over the years, this particular map category has taken tremendous leaps forward, and the Aberrant Worlds map is essentially an embodiment of all the progress that these maps have made over the years. It features every single thing you’d hope to see out of a top-tier adventure map, and this is why you absolutely need to try it out.
The plot of Aberrant Worlds revolves around two worlds and a rift that’s caused chaos among them. There was initially a Light World and a Dark World, and both these worlds existed peacefully until, one day, the Light World was assaulted after a rift connected both worlds together. Now, playing as a soldier of the Royal Guard, you must locate the only weapon that can shatter the portal between worlds and bring peace to both worlds before they end up crumbling.
Alongside the captivating plot, Aberrant Worlds also features the array of gameplay features that have come to define modern-day adventure maps. There are tons upon tons of mobs to slay, bosses to defeat, areas to explore, and even Easter Eggs to locate. One of the best things about Aberrant Worlds is the fact that it supports multiplayer with up to four different players simultaneously so, if you have a few friends that you can bring on the adventure with you, you’ll be given the option to play together in order to restore peace to the worlds.
