Golden Rule Parkour is a parkour map with gameplay that revolves entirely around one crucial rule. As long as follow its one golden rule you should be able to progress through it with relative ease but if you canโt seem to follow it, then thereโs a pretty high chance that youโll struggle a lot before getting to the end. The map doesnโt try to bring any groundbreaking new features into the mix and instead tries its best to execute the tried and true fundamentals of parkour maps to provide players with an exhilarating and memorable parkour experience.
The key rule of the Golden Rule Parkour map is that you have to stay away from the lava at all costs. As long as youโre able to successfully avoid the lava, then you should be able to move through the map quite smoothly, but as soon as you touch the lava youโll end up dying and will be set back quite a bit. The great thing about this map is that itโs not too easy, but it isnโt too difficult either so itโs a great fit for pretty much all kinds of players. The parkour types included in the map are a mix of slime, cacti, and elytra.
Golden Rule Parkour has been designed for single player only, and you have to play it in this mode otherwise, it will completely cease to function. The lack of a multiplayer mode is rather unfortunate because the pacing, difficulty level, and overall design of this map would definitely make it very fun to play alongside a few friends. Golden Rule Parkour has been made to work with Minecraft 1.9.4 but will likely run fine on all Minecraft versions above 1.9. However, it probably wonโt run at all on Minecraft 1.8.9 or anything below it.
