Good Morning Craft Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.1/1.7.10

With all the resource packs which focus on making Minecraft look like a dark, desolate and dangerous game, it’s kind of refreshing when something like Good Morning Craft resource pack comes along. This is a simple enough but very effective resource pack for completely overhauling the appearance of Minecraft without suffering from the stutters and FPS loss caused by larger resource packs. Good Morning Craft resource pack has a low resolution of just 16x, which puts it about on par with the standard look of Minecraft, so practically anyone who can play the game already can play it just as well with this pack enabled.

Though it is bright and cheery, Good Morning Craft resource pack doesn’t yet work with the newest version of the Minecraft client. This might be a permanent thing since the pack hasn’t seen any significant updates in over 6 months, but then the most recent update to Minecraft is only a month or two old now, so an update to Good Morning Craft resource pack could be in the works. As it is, it works perfectly with versions of Minecraft up to 1.8, so making a little adjustment on the startup screen and putting the version back to an appropriate level will ensure Good Morning Craft works perfectly for you.

Good Morning Craft resource pack isn’t for everyone, however. Some of the textures really are simple, perhaps even simpler than their standard counterparts, which would actually be a step down in graphics quality and an inherently difficult thing to do with Minecraft. Some players have mentioned that Good Morning Craft “borrows” textures from other resource packs too, but that may or may not be true. It certainly doesn’t have a custom block breaking animation, so don’t hold your breath hoping for those new textures to break in a new way.
