Lava and Ice Parkour is a laidback and relaxed parkour map that you’ll want to try out if you’ve grown tired of all the insanely challenging parkour maps that seem to surface every other day. Parkour maps are quite fun to play, but one minor flaw with this map category is the fact that it can be a bit intimidating for newcomers who are just getting started with Minecraft parkour. Fortunately, Lava and Ice Parkour is the perfect map for newcomers because it isn’t nearly as challenging as most run-of-the-mill parkour maps, and, at the same time, it’s quite addicting as well due to its creative design.
The Lava and Ice Parkour consists of three different stages. Two of the stages are ice based, and one is lava based, and the change of scenery is great as it helps keep the experience fresh and interesting until the end. The levels, as mentioned earlier, are quite easy to complete. There aren’t any overly difficult jumps to execute on the map so, as long as you have a decent understanding of the basics of Minecraft, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll run into any kind of trouble while making your way through this map.
One minor flaw in the Lava and Ice Parkour is the fact that it’s quite short and ends within mere minutes since there are three stages in total and these stages are fairly easy to complete. The map doesn’t seem to have any real replay value either since you’ll probably be able to memorize all the jumps within a single run and will be able to breeze through it the next time. Overall, though, Lava and Ice Parkour is a great map that newcomers to Minecraft parkour are going to appreciate quite a bit.
