The Lazuli Plains HD resource pack is perfect if you’re looking to give your Minecraft client a more modern touch. There’s no doubting the fact that there are multitudes of packs available as of today, but the thing is that most of these packs are either faithful or focus on providing players a more medieval theme. As compared to other pack categories, there aren’t a lot of ‘modern’ packs out there, so one as high quality as this one is definitely a nice change of pace. It’s been out for just over a month and has had over three thousand downloads which isn’t a lot as compared to most of the popular packs, but it’s still a pretty impressive amount.
The most impressive thing about Lazuli Plains HD resource pack is that most, if not all, the textures have been created from the ground up. Most packs tend to copy a few textures from other similar releases but not this one. It has some of the most distinct looking textures out there that look sleek and have a very fitting color palette so if you feel like textures of this kind will work well with a Minecraft project that you’re currently designing then you’re more than welcome to use this texture pack according to your needs so long as you don’t redistribute it without the developer’s permission.
The resolution of the pack is x256 which is quite high and leads to some of the sharpest and most crisp textures that Minecraft has to offer. Of course this also means that you’ll need a beefy machine to support these textures without running into any frame-rate issues. It’s worth remembering that this pack won’t work with any Minecraft version that’s under 1.7.x so make sure that your client is up to date before using it.
