Ultimate Slime Challenge is a map that makes the most out of the slime based parkour gameplay mechanics that Minecraft has to offer in order to give players an engaging and intense experience that they will not forget. Slime based gameplay mechanics have been a part of Minecraft parkour maps for a while now but they haven’t ever been the stars of any map. In almost every single parkour map, slime is a gameplay component but it’s never really the component of focus. However, all this is about to change with Ultimate Slime Challenge. As the name suggests, this is a map that focuses primarily on the slime based gameplay mechanics and, by doing so, it leads to a pretty refreshing and engaging experience.
The Ultimate Slime Challenge map is filled with a whole bunch of slime based obstacles, power-ups, and blocks and you’ll need to utilize your parkour skills to their fullest in order to get through it all. The slime based gameplay can definitely take a while to get used to at the beginning but, once you’ve gotten the hang of things, you’ll be in for a great time because the level design is quite solid and the overall gameplay is quite engaging.
The Ultimate Slime Challenge map takes somewhere between 10-20 minutes to complete but of course, this time can vary heavily depending on how skilled you actually are at Minecraft parkour. It’s important to point out that the render distance needs to be set to a value of at least eight if you want to enjoy this map properly because it fails to load correctly if it’s set to anything that’s lower than 8. Finally, the map’s been designed specifically to work on Minecraft 1.12.2 – Snapshot 17w15a so it’s important to make sure that you’re on the exact same version of the game before playing this map in order to avoid technical issues.
