Blickablock is a creative resource pack that’s bold enough to do what a lot of resource packs tend to avoid and, by doing so, it makes for a spectacular and unique visual experience that’s quite unlike anything else that traditional resource packs can offer. Minecraft is naturally a blocky looking game because of its voxel based graphics, but a lot of resource packs try to remove this blocky look from the game by utilizing various techniques. However, Blickablock goes in the completely opposite direction by actually embracing the game’s blocky art style, and the end result is a pack that offers some highly unique and impressive visuals.

As soon as you get into the game after applying the Blickablock resource pack, you’ll notice that the textures will look a lot blockier than they usually do. The pack actually adds some pretty clear outlines to the blocks to make them stand out even more and, as it turns out, this ends up making them look more appealing to look at. On top of the blocky art style, there’s also the fact that the pack has some pretty well-detailed textures and these textures, alongside the vibrant color palette, help elevate the visual experience to new heights.

The Blickablock resource pack has a resolution of x64, so you’ll definitely need an above average PC to run it without trouble. The pack’s been out for more than three years now but, even today, it sees updates on a fairly regular basis, so you won’t have to worry about it becoming outdated or incompatible with the latest versions of Minecraft.
