Block Launcher is a mod that seems quite absurd on paper but seems to function quite nicely in practice. This is a mod that’s basically been designed to ensure that players never run out of ammo and always have something that they can shoot towards anyone or anything that stands in their path. As the name suggests, the mod will allow you to launch blocks and it’s functionality is quite like that of any traditional gun, so you’ll actually be able to use your blocks as bullets and take down enemies from afar by inflicting massive damage onto them.
The Block Launcher mod features a bunch of different weapons such as the Block Rifle, Block Cannon, Shotblock, Block Thrower, TNT Cannon, TNT Launcher and a bunch of others. The goal of each individual weapon is to let players shoot blocks just like they’d shoot any other ordinary projectile, but it’s important to remember that each individual gun only works on a certain range of blocks and they all have their own distinct functionality as well. For example, the Block Thrower only shoots flammable blocks and has a continuous rate of fire whereas the Shotblock can shoot most blocks but has to wait minor intervals after every shot.
It’s important to remember that each of the weapons featured in the Block Launcher mod can be upgraded even further. For example, if you add four slimeballs to any weapon, they’ll become sticky, and this means that any projectiles that they shoot will stick to walls. However, if you want to make it so that the projectiles actually bounce back off walls at an angle, you can use 8 slimeballs. Overall, Block Launcher is a great mod that adds loads of expertly crafted guns to Minecraft for players to use whenever they want to go crazy and shoot full-fledged blocks.
