The Bonsai Trees mod, as the name implies, is a mod that’s been designed to add Bonsai trees into the world of Minecraft. Most players tend to look at Minecraft mods at things that can add new kinds of functionality into the game, but Bonsai Trees isn’t among this particular category of mods. Instead of implementing groundbreaking new mechanics into Minecraft, this mod brings decorative elements for players to enjoy so, if you’re a fan of Bonsai trees, this mod is certainly something that you should be looking into because it adds some rather authentic looking trees into the game.
Of course, it goes without saying that the Bonsai Trees mod isn’t one that’d be popular among a large audience of players since it only adds a bunch of decorative content to the game but, surprisingly enough, the mod’s actually been quite popular ever since its release. At the time of writing this, the mod’s been out for just over two weeks, and it’s already received over 10,000 downloads which is a remarkable number considering the fact that there really isn’t that much to the mod as far as content is concerned. The insane number of downloads is definitely a testament to the quality with which the trees in the mod have been designed.
As for the mod’s usage, it’s actually quite simple. First, you’ll have to craft a Bonsai Pot and then place it in an open space that has at least one block of air above it. Once you’ve placed the pot, get a compatible sapling and use it on the pot through the right click. When all this is done, the process will begin, and the tree will start growing. Bonsai Pots can even be upgraded to Hopping Bonsai Pots that are much more functional and useful.
