The Building Bricks mod is an extremely useful Minecraft mod that’s been designed to take the building aspect of the game to a whole new level and make it much more engaging and immersive. It’s pretty surprising that while Minecraft is a game that focuses on building and creating stuff so much, it often seems to lack some very core features like important building blocks so you often run into scenarios in which you have to improvise in order to complete the structure that you’re trying to make and this takes a lot away from the finesse of said structure. Fortunately, the Building Bricks mod is here to remedy all these issues and make building stuff a whole lot more fun.
The Building Bricks mod implements a variety of different features into the game. Its biggest feature is that it allows players to group up different kinds of blocks in order to form a single type of material for example you can group up stone blocks to create stone bricks or even smooth stone. The mod will also generate all the missing blocks for the created material on its own which is quite useful for a variety of obvious reasons.
The mod also adds a variety of really useful block types that, in all honesty, should have been present in the game right from the get-go. The block types include things like vertical slabs which are essentially same as horizontal slabs but are set in a vertical orientation, there are also steps which are basically one-half of a full slab and are really useful when building things like stairs. There’s also a three blocks high portable ladder that makes creating structures of large heights much easier and you can take it with you wherever you go since it’s highly portable.
