Christmas Brawl is a captivating PvP map that you simply must play if you want to wreck some friends in the spirit of Christmas. Recently, with the holiday less than a week away, there have been a lot of great Christmas themed maps, packs, and mods for Minecraft but Christmas Brawl definitely seems to stand out above the rest because of its top-notch execution and intriguing gameplay concepts. It’s by no means like a traditional PvP map, so it’ll definitely take a bit of getting used to but, once you get the hang of the map’s basics, you’ll probably be hooked on it for a pretty long time because of how addicting its gameplay is.
The Christmas Brawl is based primarily on free-for-all style gameplay in which the objective is to completely eliminate all enemies from the map while keeping yourself alive. The idea might sound pretty simple on paper, but the gameplay’s given a ton of depth thanks to the high-quality characters that players can choose from. There are seven different characters to choose from in the map, and each one of these characters has access to its own unique set of abilities that you can utilize to wreak havoc on your foes. What’s most impressive about these characters is the fact that they’re all very well balanced and none of them feel overpowered or unfair to play against.
To make things even more exciting, Christmas Brawl has a variety of different power-ups that have been scattered across the map. Players can make use of these power-ups to get an edge over their opponents and, when utilized properly, they can mean the difference between victory and defeat. The Balloon, Musical Box, and the Tinsel are all examples of these power-ups. There’s also a MineMakers Ball that’ll activate your ultimate and pretty much obliterate everyone else if you can successfully get to it. The map supports up to 12 players which is a pretty massive amount, and it even comes with a great resource pack to top things off.
