Gearan Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.10.2

Gearan is definitely unlike most run-of-the-mill resource packs that we see for Minecraft. Most traditional resource packs only focus on one particular art style in order to make sure that the textures work cohesively with one another, and although this approach usually works out, it often leads to fairly dull resource packs that don’t have anything actually noteworthy for the players to enjoy. However, Gearan is here to change that. The pack manages to blend together both the traditional and realistic art styles, and this leads to a visual experience that’s both enjoyable and refreshing.

The thing that caught our eye about the Gearan resource pack is that it manages to strike an excellent balance between both distinct art style and this leads to a lot of incredible looking textures that synergize quite nicely with one another and in turn make the game look very appealing. One thing that we didn’t necessarily like about the pack is that it tones down the color palette a bit too much, and although this make the game give off some great realistic vibes, it also takes away the charm that the vanilla Minecraft visuals are known so much for.

The Gearan resource pack came out less than three days ago and is still halfway from completion which is why you’ll probably encounter your fair share of missing textures and even some visuals glitches while using it, but these issues are bound to be patched out through future updates so you shouldn’t think too much of them. The pack’s textures have a resolution of 16×16, and this specific resolution is actually perfect to emulate the distinct visual style that this pack tries to pull off.
