Heart’s resource pack is probably one of the most, if not the most, peculiar resource packs we’ve ever stumbled upon in our years with Minecraft. Over the years, we’ve seen resource packs with pretty intriguing art styles such as futuristic, medieval and various others but a resource pack with an art style that revolves solely around hearts is something that definitely hasn’t been seen before. The pack might not be for everyone but, if you’re looking for something that’s truly unique and out of the ordinary, Heart’s is a pack that you should certainly consider trying out at least once.
Heart’s resource pack has been built around the idea of changing a lot of the in-game entities to look like hearts and also redesigning quite a few textures with heart shaped patterns. Designing a pack of this sort definitely seems like a challenge because it doesn’t use traditional techniques, so the creator definitely deserves quite a bit of praise for pulling something like this off. Onto the textures themselves, they don’t have that much detail packed into them but still look quite nice thanks to the aforementioned unique art style and the vibrant color palette that accompanies them.
Heart’s resource pack has the standard resolution of x16 which is why you’ll have absolutely no trouble getting to run at stable frame-rates as long as you play on a computer that can run vanilla Minecraft without any frame-rate issues. One crucial thing that you’ll need to remember about this pack, though, is the fact that it’s only available for version 1.8.9 of Minecraft so you might need to downgrade your Minecraft client in order to use it.
