Infiltrate is an absolutely phenmomenal three-part map that’s been inspired by the hugely popular Star Wars franchise. Fans of the Star Wars series are certainly going to appreciate what this map has to offer because it not only does an excellent job of replicating the core theme of the franchise, it also offers gameplay that’s highly reminiscent to what people have already seen or experienced in the actual Star Wars games. Whether you’re looking for a top notch adventure map or are an avid Star Wars fan, this is a map that’s sure to live up to, and probably surpass, your expectations.

In the Infiltrate map, your endgame goal is to take out the Death Star, but this will be a near impossible task as the Death Star is guarded by an insanely powerful Star Destroyer that takes down anyone who even thinks of meddling with the Death Star. Your goal is to pilot an X-Wing and take down the engines of the Star Destroyer so that your squadron can find a path to the Death Star and bring it down for good. The plot seems a bit too simple on paper but there’s actually a lot of depth to it, and you’ll see this for yourself when you actually try it out.

As for the actual gameplay, Infiltrate is quite extraordinary because it gives players the ability to pilot a full-fledged X-Wing. Flying around and X-Wing is a delightful activity because there are tons of incredibly maneuvers that players can perform, and they have access to an extraordinary amount of firepower as well. On top of this, the map also features a freeplay mode in which players can simply fly around on an X-Wing without the pressure of completing any objective. The freeplay mode is great as it gives the map quite a lot of replay value and it’s something that we hope to see in future maps of the sort.
