Colors the First War is a map that actually serves as a sequel to the Rubix Cube map that surfaced a while ago. The map’s story is a direct continuation of where the story of the previous map ended so, before we actually go into detail regarding this map, we want to highlight the fact that it’s definitely a better decision to play the Rubix Cube map before if you intend to play this one because, if you do so, you’ll have a firm understanding of this map’s plot and won’t be confused throughout the entirety of your experience.
In Colors the First War, you play the role of a guardian of an ancient book but, during your watch, the book is stolen, and you must figure out a way to get it back. After some investigation, you realize that the book has been stolen by someone known as PINK and now it’s up to you to figure out a way into her facility and recover the book before the book is gone for good. Sneaking into the facility is going to be a daunting task but, if you fail, your rank of guardian will be taken from you, and you’ll never reach that rank again.
One thing that impressed us quite a bit about Colors the First War is the fact that the map comes with three different endings and this gives the map an insane amount of replay value because players will be able to play through the map over and over again until they’ve experienced each individual ending. The gameplay of Colors the First War doesn’t really have anything innovative or out of the ordinary, but it still manages to deliver an engaging gameplay experience because it pulls off the core concepts of adventure maps with perfection.
