Links Awakening DX Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.11.2

The Links Awakening DX has been inspired by the popular Legend of Zelda game that came out for the Game Boy back in 1993. Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening was a delight to play and one of the reasons the game was so enjoyable was the fact that the game features a very intriguing and innovative art style that made the game look very appealing, even in those times when visuals weren’t really all that good. The Links Awakening DX resource pack gives a twist to the default visuals of Minecraft and makes them look quite similar to the visuals that Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening had to offer.

It’s worth mentioning that the Links Awakening DX doesn’t completely change Minecraft’s default visuals but, instead, it slightly retextures everything to make sure they fit with the art style of the game that this pack’s based on. Due to this, the pack’s textures share a few similarities with the vanilla textures of Minecraft. However, one major difference between this pack’s textures and vanilla’s textures is the fact that there’s absolutely no noise in the textures of Links Awakening DX and this leads to visuals that are clean, tidy and, overall, a lot more appealing to look at. One thing worth mentioning is that Links Awakening DX is a pretty old resource pack since it came out over 5 years ago but, even today, it’s still very well maintained and received updates on a fairly regular basis.

Links Awakening DX has been built at a base resolution of 16×16 which is, of course, same as the resolution of vanilla Minecraft textures and this is why you’ll have no trouble getting this pack to run as long as your PC can handle vanilla Minecraft properly. The pack is available for all Minecraft versions ranging from 1.8 to 1.11, so if you’re on an older version of the game, then you’ll need to update.
