The SummerFields Resource Pack is one of the oldest Minecraft resource packs that’s still active today. The pack was originally designed by lithiumsound, and it was created for Minecraft 1.3.2. However, since the original creator abandoned development some time ago, the responsibility for this pack was handed over to CuddleWoozle, who, in all honesty, has done a pretty good job of making sure that the pack remains in-line with all modern day Minecraft standards and makes the game look absolutely phenomenal. SummerFields is sure to provide you with a very immersive Minecraft experience as long as you use it alongside Optifine or MCPatcher.
The goal of the SummerFields pack is to essentially brighten up the entire Minecraft world. As soon as you get into the game with this pack applied you’ll see that everything seems brighter and more vibrant. The pack has drawn a lot of inspiration from the game Fable – The Lost Chapters as well as other resource packs such as GoodMorningCraft and Jolicraft so you’ll see that it looks quite reminiscent of them in a variety of different ways. The textures of SummerFields also look incredibly clean. They have just the right amount of detail in them and are free from any untidiness and clutter that might have an adverse impact on how good they look.
The resolution of the SummerFields pack is 32×32 which isn’t particularly groundbreaking but is still good enough to allow for some relatively crisp textures that are very appealing to look at. Overall, this is a superb pack that has stood the test of time and will probably continue to thrive for a long time to come due to how well designed it is.
