The Lava Trials is a map that’s been targeted specifically towards players who want to push their parkour skills to the absolute limits and see just how good they truly are at Minecraft parkour. Before we go into the map’s details, we want to say that this really isn’t the map to be playing if you’re new to parkour maps and don’t have any prior experience with them. If you play this map without prior parkour experience, you’re bound to get stuck in tons upon tons of different places, so we only recommend playing this map if you’re truly confident in your abilities and have a fair bit of parkour experience under your belt.

The Lava Trials is basically a fast-paced parkour map in which you’ll have to overcome various different kinds of parkour sequences in order to get to the end as quickly as possible. The thing that makes this map, so challenging is the fact that it’s loaded with different kinds of parkour sequences and this is why you’ll continuously be forced to change your play-style. The map features over ten different kinds of unique parkour sequences, so you’re definitely going to struggle as you try to make your way to the end.

Alongside the usual features, The Lava Trials also features five bonus stages that players can enjoy. The bonus stages are completely optional but, if you can manage to complete all five of them, you’ll be given five unique Preston themed items that you can utilize to troll your friends a little bit. Overall, The Lava Trials is a captivating parkour map that isn’t really for newcomers to this map category but, for experienced veterans who want to test their skills, this is no doubt the perfect map. We highly recommend giving The Lava Trials a shot if you feel that you’re highly skilled at playing parkour maps.

How to install The Lava Trials Map?

  1. Press the Windows or Start button, then press R. This will open the Run prompt.
  2. Type %appdata% into the prompt and run the command.
  3. A folder filled with other folders will now open. Just find the Minecraft folder among these and open it.
  4. In .minecraft you will find another folder, saves. Unzip and move your world file into this folder and you’re all done.
