The Twist Labs is an engrossing Minecraft map that manages to bring together the best gameplay elements of both adventure and puzzle maps in order to make for an engrossing and refreshing experience that fans of Minecraft maps will not be disappointed with. The map utilizes a variety of creative gameplay concepts and these definitely lead to a distinct experience but, at the same time, it’s worth pointing out that the map’s quite challenging as well due to the aforementioned gameplay elements and this is why you may struggle with it at the beginning.
One of the most important things that you need to keep in mind about The Twist Labs is the fact that it’s meant to be played by two players so, in order to enjoy it, you’ll need to bring a friend along. As for the setting, the map revolves around the fact that you went to sleep one day and, as it turns out, your dream starts feeling realistic and, all of a sudden, the dream ends up becoming reality and your friend seems to be trapped with you in this dream as well. Now, working together, you two must figure out a way to escape the dream before it ends up consuming you.
The gameplay of The Twist Labs is probably its biggest highlight because of the cooperation focused gameplay. There’s no part of this map that you can get through on your own so you’ll always have to coordinate with your friend in order to figure out a way past the puzzle. Developing a sense of cohesion with your friend might be a bit challenging at the beginning but, in the end, it’ll definitely be worth it because of the feeling of satisfaction that you’ll get upon completing the challenges by cooperating with your friend.
