Yami Craft is a resource pack that’s been designed to give Minecraft a semi-realistic look without increasing its resolution by a drastic amount. Realistic packs for Minecraft exist in abundance but one thing that holds players back from using them is the fact that they usually have high resolutions and this is why players with low-end PCs can’t use them without running into countless frame-rate problems. Yami Craft is a pack that manages to convey a realistic art style without increasing the resolution by incredible amounts, and the end result is a top-notch visual experience that a large portion of Minecraft’s audience can enjoy.
One thing that we absolutely love about the textures of the Yami Craft resource pack is the fact that there’s absolutely no noise in them. A lot of realistic resource packs manage to implement quite a bit of detail in the textures, but the price of all this detail is usually a whole bunch of noise that holds the visuals back from being truly exceptional. However, noise seems to be completely non-existent in this particular resource pack in spite of the insane level of detail, so you’re in for an incredible visual experience if you choose to try it out.
It’s worth mentioning that you should be careful when choosing a shader pack to use with Yami Craft. Shader packs can certainly enhance a resource pack to great heights, but some actually have negative effects on this particular pack’s visuals so you’ll need to check them before you start using them. Yami Craft has a resolution of x64 which is higher than the usual x16 but significantly lower than the insane resolutions that most realistic packs come with so you should be able to use it without any major trouble as long as you play Minecraft on a computer with average hardware.
