If you’re looking for a Christmas-themed resource pack to get a server ready for the December holiday coming up fast, you’ll want to take a good look at ZederCraft Christmas. It’s a pretty detailed pack with two different versions, in either a 256x or 128x resolution. This means some Minecraft players won’t be able to use the pack. If you’re already struggling to play Minecraft in its vanilla state, you probably won’t be able to do much with ZederCraft Christmas. If you regularly install and use packs with this level of detail though, by all means, be sure to give this one a try.
ZederCraft Christmas is a very realistic texture pack thanks to its boosted resolution. You’ll notice patches of snow on just about everything too, from grass blocks to dirt to saplings and even grown trees. Even the mycelium from the mushroom / mooshroom biomes isn’t immune from this light dusting of snow. The blocks that don’t get hit with snow are instead set up with Christmas decorations – ornaments, colorful lights, that sort of stuff. The whole world kind of freezes over too since any place there’s grass is instead covered with snow and converted to a snow biome because of it.
Normally, because the ZederCraft Christmas resource pack turns the whole Minecraft world into a winter wonderland, it can make it difficult to grow crops unless you use a lot of torches near your farm plot. Because this is just a resource pack which changes the appearance of things without actually modifying them like a mod would though, it only looks like everything is covered in snow. You’ll still be able to farm and find cows, pigs, sheep and other animals just fine if you’re in the right biome to see them.
