5×5 is a Minecraft puzzle map that certainly has the potential to keep layers completely engrossed from the moment it starts to the moment it ends. The map, unlike a lot of puzzle maps we see nowadays, has been designed keeping in mind the fact that the gameplay of puzzle maps can start to feel repetitive after a while if the gameplay isn’t mixed up with new elements and, fortunately, the gameplay of 5×5 doesn’t become repetitive or dull at all because the map is filled to the brim with many different kinds of challenges for you to overcome.
The 5×5 map consists of 11 different 5×5 rooms and the thing that defines this map is the fact that every single room has its own distinct kind of puzzle for you to solve. No two rooms in this map have gameplay that feels even remotely similar to one another and this is one of the key reasons why this map is so enjoyable. You’ll get to solve puzzles consisting of floating signs, vanishing blocks, magic items and a whole bunch of other stuff. It’s definitely worth highlighting that the gameplay of 5×5 is a tad bit more complex than that of traditional puzzle maps so you might struggle a bit as you progress through it but, as long as you keep trying, you’re bound to make your way through it eventually.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
5×5 has been made to work with version 1.12.2 of Minecraft and it seems to be immaculate on a technical level so, as long as you play it with the correct version of the game, your experience should be a smooth and memorable one.
