A Day to Remember Map is an absolutely phenomenal adventure map that offers players a very unique experience by allowing them to experience the gameplay from 2.5D perspective. Playing the game from a 2.5D angle might take a bit of getting used to, but thankfully the map comes with a tutorial sequence that’s designed to explain all the basics to players so that they understand exactly how the gameplay works. A crucial thing to remember about A Day to Remember is that it’s been designed specifically for version 1.9 of Minecraft, so it probably won’t work with any previous versions if you try to play it on any. Also, in order to play it optimally, you should set the render distance to at least 8 and set the FOV to normal. As long as you have these settings done properly then your experience should be a very enjoyable one.
In A Day to Remember you play the role of you play the role of Ethan Odell who was perhaps the epitome of the average working class man but that was only up until his house caught fire. What’s peculiar about this fire is that it doesn’t seem natural at all, so you embark on a quest to figure out what, or who caused it and as you set out on this journey your whole life takes a complete turn. The plot is very captivating and definitely has the potential to keep players hooked up until the very end.
A Day to Remember is a single player only map which is actually fitting given the fact that its story revolves entirely along a single person. It’s important to remember that while it’s pretty solid on a technical level, it still does have its fair share of bugs, for example, the character getting stuck on a specific scene from time to time but these bugs don’t happen that often so they won’t hinder your experience that much.
