Parkour in Minecraft has a variety of different gameplay mechanics that make it so exciting and thrilling but one of the best things about Minecraft parkour definitely has to be the jumping aspect. Almost every single map in this category comes with multitudes of challenging jumps that players have to execute and, as it turns out, A Long Day Jumping is a map that focuses solely on this particular aspect of the gameplay so it’s a map that’ll definitely appeal to a lot of players.
A Long Day Jumping isn’t like the average parkour map because it doesn’t have standard level-based progression but, instead, the map comes with over 1000 different jumps that players will have to execute as they progress through the game. The core gameplay of A Long Day Jumping might sound like something that would easily get repetitive within the first few minutes of play but this is definitely far from the case because each individual jump in the map has its own distinct conditions which is why they all have different executions.
The technical aspects of A Long Day Jumping seem to be absolutely spot-on as the map doesn’t display any major gameplay issues that would hinder the experience for players or prevent them from progressing further at any point. It’s worth pointing out that, while the map does support multiplayer, it’s still been designed primarily with single-player in mind so it’s probably a wise idea to avoid the multiplayer aspect as it’ll probably cause some unforeseen issues to pop up. Overall, though, A Long Day Jumping is an engaging parkour map that you won’t be disappointed with at all.
