AlchemyPack is a relatively fresh resource pack considering the fact that, at the time of writing this, it hasn’t even been out for two whole months but, even in spite of how new it is, the pack has still managed to become fairly popular among the community as it’s been downloaded over 1000 times ever since it surfaced and this is primarily thanks to the distinct visuals that it brings to the table. This is by no means the most popular pack available nor is it of the highest quality as far as texture design is concerned but, all things considered, it’s absolutely worth giving a shot to.
The AlchemyPack manages to give Minecraft’s visuals a refreshing twist because it stays from the traditional style of making the textures as vibrant as possible and, instead, goes for a darker looking. The dark color palette of this pack is quite intriguing and, alongside this, the textures seem to have a considerable amount of detail in them as well so they’re highly appealing. Another praiseworthy aspect of this pack is the fact that it almost completely manages to eliminate noise from the textures and this leads to a game world that looks smooth and clean.
AlchemyPack has a resolution of 16×16 which is why most players, even those playing Minecraft on PCs with low-end hardware, should have absolutely no issues getting the pack to run at stable frame-rates. It’s worth highlighting, though, that AlchemyPack is still a work in progress so some textures are still subject to change and some missing textures are going to be added in the near future through updates.
