Astraga Islands is a map in which your survival skills will definitely be tested because the map’s gameplay is a lot more complex than what we’ve seen in other run-of-the-mill survival maps and, due to this, the overall difficulty is certainly on the higher end of the spectrum. It goes without saying that, due to how challenging the map can be, it’s best to steer clear of it if you aren’t familiar with survival maps but, on the other hand, you should definitely try the map out if you’re confident in your abilities and want to have your survival skills pushed to the absolute limit.
In terms of plot and storytelling, Astraga Islands isn’t all that impressive because the map takes place on an island and your character has absolutely no recollection of prior events which is why there really isn’t a story to follow here, thankfully, the lack of a plot is more than made up for by the map’s intricate and engaging gameplay. The map takes place in a cold and snowy climate which naturally makes survival hard but, thankfully, there’s a big spruce tree in the map that’ll provide you with the resources and materials you need to survive.
The goal of the Astraga Islands map is to escape from the strange island that you’ve landed on and, in order to do so, you’ll have to find the secret generator that’ll help you escape. Before you can find the secret generator, though, you’ll have to find the four other generators and activate them in order to gain access to the last one. All said and done, Astraga Islands is a pretty engaging survival map that you won’t be disappointed with if you’re adept at playing survival maps and are looking for something to test your skills with.
