Cave Escape is an intriguing parkour map in which, as the name suggests, you have to escape from a cave before it’s too late. The story behind the map is that you were basically mining in a cave, but all of a sudden the entire mine decided to collapse for no apparent reason and now you’re stranded in the darkness with a dwindling amount of oxygen. The seemingly only way out of this cave is through a very challenging parkour sequence that’ll take a little bit of effort to get through because the parkour course is very dangerous and littered with danger but there’s no other way out, so you have to run through it.
One peculiar thing about the Cave Escape map is that despite its seemingly daunting setting, it’s actually not that challenging. The parkour is fairly easy to run through, and you’ll encounter various types of it such as glass pane, ice, invisible block, and of course the good old standard parkour. The variety of parkour sequences helps keep things intriguing and refreshing while you’re playing the map and this is rather important because otherwise, the map would just become repetitive after the first few minutes.
Another noteworthy thing about Cave Escape is that it doesn’t take that long to complete. Depending on your parkour skills you should be able to get through to the end in 5-15 minutes which isn’t really that long but the good thing about this short play-time is that it makes this the perfect map for players who want to enjoy a good parkour experience but don’t have a lot of time to spare. The map has a very solid multiplayer mode also that allows up to six players to play simultaneously, and this can lead to a lot of enjoyable and memorable moments.
