Coarse Sands is one of the most exciting, intriguing, and challenging puzzle maps that we’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing in Minecraft. The map has some of the most distinct and engaging gameplay that the survival map category has to offer and this intense gameplay has been coupled with a captivating setting that essentially ensures that players will remain completely hooked onto the map until they’ve fully seen it through. If you’re a fan of adventure maps and are looking for something refreshing, then Coarse Sands is definitely one of the best maps that you can try out right now.

The plot of Coarse Sands revolves around the fact that you were in a plane crash and your plane crashed in the middle of a completely barren desert that doesn’t seem to show any signs of life, or human life at least. You’re the only survivor of the plane crash and have to figure out how to stay alive until you can call for help. The map delivers a nail-biting experience in which players have to try and stay strong against the challenges of the desert for as long as possible so they can find the radio and finally signal for help.

Overall, Coarse Sands provides a very engaging experience and also has various side-challenging that players can complete if they want to keep themselves busy at all times. It’s worth mentioning that the map has a very specific death penalty that’ll give you de-buffs if you die too many times. Dying 10 times in succession will give you bad luck and constant hunger, and you’ll need to find and eat a golden apple if you want to get rid of this penalty. It’s also worth mentioning that you shouldn’t try to climb over the sand dunes of the map because they serve as boundaries.
