Color Run is a two player game map that draws a bit of inspiration from PvP and survival maps in order to give players an exciting gameplay experience that they wonโt be disappointed with. Before we head into the specifics of this map, though, we want to highlight that this map has been designed specifically to work with two players so youโll need to have a friend with you if you want to enjoy the experience that it has to offer. The learning curve of the map isnโt particularly high either, so youโll be able to play it without trouble even if you arenโt proficient at playing PvP maps.
The Color Run map, as the name suggests, consists of running from color to color. The map requires players to stay agile, and the goal is to go to the correct color before the end of each round. If you donโt get to the correct color at the right time, youโll lose your life, and your opponent will win. One important twist that youโll need to keep in mind, though, is the fact that the map doesnโt let players jump and all players have a constant slowness effect on them so youโll need to have quick decision making or you wonโt be able to make it to the colors in time.
One rather peculiar thing to keep in mind about Color Run is the fact that it tends to lag at times but, fortunately, this issue comes with an easy fix as all you have to do is utilize Optifine when you play this map because it ends up remedying most frame-rate issues that occur in the map. Color Run has been designed to function on Minecraft 1.12.2, so youโll need to be on the same version of the game if you want to play the map.
