Doll House a creative resource pack that gives Minecraft’s visuals a great lift and enhances them by a significant amount. Although the name of the Doll House resource pack might sound quite peculiar at first, it actually turns out that the name fits the pack’s visuals quite accurately since it has the same plastic-esque visuals that look similar to that of a doll house. The art style of the pack is certainly peculiar but, all things considered, it’s pretty well designed and you should absolutely try it out if you’ve grown tired of the vanilla look of the game and want to try out something refreshing.
The most appealing thing about the Doll House resource pack is the fact that its visuals are incredibly clean. Due to the pack’s art style, there’s no real need to stuff too much detail into the textures and this is why they look smooth and completely free of noise. The lack of detail is obviously an issue here but, overall, it’s a pretty minor one because the smooth and clean textures look quite appealing regardless of this. The pack’s colors are also quite vibrant and the bright colors do an excellent job of making the game world look, and feel, livelier.
If you’re worried about performance issues then you’ll be glad to know that the Doll House resource pack has the standard x16 resolution that most traditional Minecraft resource packs come with and this is why it’s highly unlikely that you’ll have any trouble at all getting the pack to run at a stable frame-rate, even on computers with lackluster hardware.
