Don’t Slip is an extremely challenging and nerve wracking parkour map that’ll test the skills of whoever plays it to the absolute limit. The pack features a distinct setting and makes a significant alteration to the traditional gameplay that makes things tenfold more difficult than they’d normally be. Although most parkour maps primarily revolve around testing a player’s reaction time and mechanics, this particular pack focuses on testing the focus and nerves of a player. Basically, you can’t even make the slightest of mistakes while playing it because if you do, you’ll be set back quite a bit.
The Don’t Slip map takes place on ice and requires players to get to the end of 8 incredibly difficult levels without even making the slightest of mistakes. The map makes it so that players aren’t allowed to shift at all, and this makes things a lot more difficult and tedious than they would have been. Since you’re not allowed to shift, you’ll have to maintain a proper balance in order to get to the end of every level, and failing to do so will set you back a lot and might even end up making you replay the whole stage over again.
The Don’t Slip map can be finished in 15-30 minutes but this, of course, depends hugely on how skilled you are at parkour maps and Minecraft in general. The map is single player only so you won’t be able to experience it alongside a friend and one important thing worth noting is that the render distance needs to be set at a value of 8 or above for the map to function properly. Overall, this is a pretty distinct parkour map that features a refreshing concept and the challenging gameplay that we’ve all come to expect of this map category.
