Doomsday Parkour is a captivating Minecraft parkour map that draws its inspiration from the infamous Doomsday which was supposed to occur on the 21st of December in 2012. However, while nothing happened in the real world on this date, the Doomsday Parkour map aims to tell a different story. The map takes place in a world that’s on the verge of collapsing after a catastrophe hits and it’s up to the players to figure out a way to parkour out of it all. The map feels intense and the nail-biting setting makes the experience even more exhilarating so, for parkour enthusiasts, this map is an excellent choice.
The gameplay of Doomsday Parkour takes place across a city that’s being ravaged by an unknown catastrophe that seems to be throwing everything into chaos. You’ll have to parkour through collapsing buildings and this won’t be an easy task since the map takes place in a city that’s filled to the brim with skyscrapers that are on the verge of collapsing. It goes without saying that the map isn’t really recommended for newcomers since its setting leads to a lot of extremely intense and close call moments in which the slightest misstep can lead to a deadly fall.
One rather unfortunate thing about the Doomsday Parkour map is the fact that it doesn’t really last all that long. The gameplay of the map ranges between 10 to 15 minutes so it’s over quite quickly but these few minutes of player are quite enjoyable and the map actually has quite a bit of replay value as well so it’s certainly worth playing once again if you’ve completed it. Overall, though, Doomsday Parkour is a spectacular parkour map that thrill seekers will absolutely love due to its captivating setting and thrilling gameplay.
